London Cocktail Week, the world’s largest celebration of cocktail culture, returned for its fifteenth edition from October 3 to 13, 2024. The 11-day, city-wide festival showcased London's best bars and their one-of-a-kind signature cocktails, drawing cocktail lovers from across the globe with a vibrant mix of immersive pop-ups, international takeovers, special menus, and unique events.

Spy Bar, nestled deep within the historic walls of The Old War Office (OWO), made a striking debut in this year’s festival line-up. With its speakeasy ambiance and an air of intrigue, this clandestine cocktail bar pays tribute to the rich espionage history of the OWO, once the nerve centre of British intelligence. Located several floors underground, Spy Bar once housed secure MI5 and MI6 vaults that guarded some of the nation's most closely held secrets. Today, it’s a top destination for discerning drinkers, offering handcrafted cocktails in an atmosphere steeped in mystery and allure.
Guests at Spy Bar are invited to walk the same corridors where spies were once briefed for covert missions across Europe. From the moment they descend through the tunnels to the entrance marked “007,” the experience is immersive and unforgettable.
Among the highlights of Spy Bar’s menu is Verdes Margarita featuring Axia’s extra-dry Mastiha spirit. This sophisticated blend takes taste buds on a journey through rich and unexpected flavours, combining Axia Mastiha Spirit, green coffee with peat, pear vinegar and pear EDV.
